2. Services Provided

Lofoten Lightscape offers guided experiences including:

Photography Workshops
Lofoten Sightseeing Tours
Aurora Hunting (Northern Lights Tours)
Private Tours

Details of each service, including inclusions and requirements, are provided at the time of booking.

3. Booking & Payment

All bookings are made via email.

Workshops & Private Tours:
- A deposit is required to confirm the booking.
- Full payment must be completed at least 60 days prior to the scheduled tour.

Group Activities:
- Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

Bookings are only confirmed once payment (deposit or full) has been received.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 Workshops & Private Tours

The deposit is non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 90 days prior to the tour.
Full payment must be completed at least 60 days before the tour date.
Additional cancellation terms for full payment may be agreed upon case-by-case.

4.2 Group Activities

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before departure, with a refund minus a 5% transaction fee.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the tour or no-shows are non-refundable.

4.3 Cancellation by Lofoten Lightscape

If a tour is cancelled due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided.

5. Travel Insurance

While Lofoten Lightscape is insured for its operations, all participants are required to have valid personal travel insurance covering outdoor activities.

We are not liable for personal injuries, accidents, or losses during the tour.

6. Assumption of Risk

By participating in our tours, you acknowledge that outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including:

Changing weather conditions
Uneven terrain
Physical exertion

Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

7. Liability Limitation

Lofoten Lightscape is not responsible for:

Personal injuries
Loss or damage to personal belongings
Delays or disruptions

Including those caused by:

Weather conditions
Natural events
Transportation issues
Personal health conditions

This exclusion does not apply in cases of gross negligence.

8. Health & Fitness Requirements

Participants must:

Be in good physical condition
Be capable of participating in the selected activity

Any medical conditions, injuries, or limitations must be communicated prior to booking.

9. Participant Conduct

All participants are expected to:

Respect guides and other guests
Follow safety instructions
Respect the natural environment

Lofoten Lightscape reserves the right to remove any participant displaying:

Dangerous
Disruptive
Disrespectful behavior

No refund will be issued in such cases.

10. Photography & Media Use

10.1 Company Use

During tours, photos and videos may be taken for promotional purposes. By participating, you agree that Lofoten Lightscape may use this material for:

Website
Social media
Marketing materials

10.2 Opt-Out

If you do not wish to appear in photos or videos, you must inform us in advance.

10.3 Sharing Photos

Photos taken during the tour may be shared with participants as a complimentary service, but this is not guaranteed.

11. Privacy & Data Protection

We collect necessary personal information, including:

Name
Contact details
Relevant health information (if required)

11.2 Data Use

Your data is used only for:

Booking management
Communication
Legal obligations

We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law.

By booking with us, you agree to receive marketing communications. You may unsubscribe at any time.

12. Force Majeure

Lofoten Lightscape is not liable for failure or delays caused by events beyond our control, including:

Extreme weather
Natural disasters
Government restrictions
Transport disruptions

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Norway.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Norwegian courts.
