Join an immersive photography workshop in the Lofoten Islands, designed for those who want to go beyond simply visiting—and truly capture the Arctic at its most powerful moments.

This experience is built around light. From the soft colors of sunrise to the dramatic tones of sunset, and into the night under the Northern Lights, each day is carefully planned to place you in the most beautiful locations at the perfect time. You’ll explore some of Lofoten’s most iconic landscapes as well as hidden gems, always adapting to weather and light conditions to get the best possible results.

To ensure a high-quality and personal experience, the group is limited to a maximum of 7 participants. You will be guided by a professional photographer.

The workshop is designed with flexibility in mind. Conditions in the Arctic change quickly, and we embrace that. Instead of following a rigid schedule, we continuously adjust plans to chase the best light—whether that means changing locations, shifting timings, or extending a session when conditions are exceptional.

Throughout the workshop, you will receive hands-on support with composition, camera settings, and creative vision. Whether you are a beginner looking to improve or an experienced photographer seeking inspiration, this experience is tailored to help you grow while capturing truly unique images.

From dramatic peaks rising out of the sea to quiet fjords reflecting the sky, and the unforgettable dance of the aurora above—this workshop is about being in the right place, at the right time, with the right guidance.

    What do you need:

You have to be well-equipped for all kinds of  weather. The temperatures tend to be between -5 and +5 degrees Celsius but with strong winds, it feels a lot colder.

  • It’s important to bring warm and comfortable layers. A layer should be waterproof such as Gore-tex.

  • Thermal underwear, a fleece layer, a down jacket, hat and gloves, crampons and water-resistant boots or even waders are recommended.

  • A tripod will also be necessary for when we are photographing the Northern Lights.

  • I’m happy to assist with recommending both clothing and camera equipment.
