Northern lights Tour
Experience the magic of the Arctic night on a guided Northern Lights tour in the breathtaking Lofoten Islands. Departing from either Moskenes or Leknes, this tour takes you away from light pollution and into some of the region’s most scenic and remote locations, carefully selected based on weather conditions and aurora forecasts.
Your guide will monitor real-time data throughout the day to maximize your chances of witnessing the Aurora Borealis. Depending on the conditions, you may travel along dramatic coastal roads, visit hidden beaches, or head inland where the skies are clearer. Each night is different, making every tour a unique adventure.
During the journey, you’ll learn about the science behind the Northern Lights, local culture, and life in Arctic Norway. The guide will also assist you with camera settings, helping you capture high-quality photos of the aurora—even if you have little or no experience with night photography.
To keep you comfortable in the cold Arctic environment, warm drinks and light snacks are provided, and there will be opportunities to warm up during the tour. Small group sizes ensure a more personal and flexible experience.

Tour Details
- Departure: 21:00 from Reine
- Pick-up from other locations, including Leknes, can be arranged upon request. ( only for 4+ people)
- Duration: Approximately 4–5 hours
(Please note that the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon. If conditions are favorable earlier in the evening, we may depart sooner. Likewise, if activity develops later, the tour may be extended to maximize your chances of experiencing the aurora.)

Cancellation & Refund Policy
- More than 30 days before the tour: Full refund
- 14–30 days before the tour: 50% refund
- Cancellation by operator:
In case of severe weather or unsuitable operational conditions, the tour will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued.
Aurora & weather conditions:
If weather or aurora forecasts are uncertain, guests will be informed in advance and given the choice to proceed or not. If the tour operates and guests choose to participate, no refund will be provided.
